Medically supervised, and built around your health history.
Weight is not just a matter of willpower. Metabolism, hormones, sleep, past dieting, and medication history all affect how your body stores and releases fat.
Our Medical Weight Loss Program runs under medical supervision. A licensed provider reviews your health history, decides whether treatment is appropriate, and stays involved the whole way through.

How the Program Works
1. Consultation and health history
We go through your medical history, current medications, past weight loss attempts, and what you are trying to reach. This visit decides whether medical treatment makes sense for you at all.
2. Lab work and eligibility review
Lab work and a clinical assessment give us your baseline. Some health conditions rule out certain treatments, and we screen for those before anything is prescribed.
3. Your plan
Your provider builds the plan around your health profile. It may include prescription medication, nutrition support, or both. Nothing is prescribed without a clinical reason.
4. Ongoing monitoring
You check in on a set schedule. We track how you are responding, adjust dosing when appropriate, and watch for side effects.
5. Nutrition and lifestyle support
Medication works alongside eating patterns, protein intake, activity, and sleep. We cover these at every visit, because they shape what happens after treatment ends.
What the Program Can Include
GLP-1 medication therapy
GLP-1 receptor agonists are prescription medications that act on appetite signaling and blood sugar regulation. They are prescribed only after a medical evaluation, and only when a provider finds them clinically appropriate.
Read more about GLP-1 weight management, including how these medications work, who should not take them, and their side effects.
Vitamin B12 injections
B12 supports normal red blood cell formation and nervous system function. If your lab work shows a deficiency, supplementation corrects it.
We do not offer B12 as a weight loss treatment. It is supportive care. On its own, it does not cause weight loss.
Nutrition coaching
Practical guidance on protein, fiber, hydration, and meal timing. This matters more once your appetite drops, since eating too little protein during weight loss can cost you muscle.
Who May Be a Candidate
A consultation may be a reasonable next step if any of these fit:
- Diet and activity alone have not worked, or the weight came back
- Your BMI is 30 or higher
- Your BMI is 27 or higher alongside a weight-related condition
- You want a plan a medical provider actually monitors
Meeting these points does not mean you qualify for medication. Only a provider evaluation settles that.
What to Expect
Progress is gradual, and it differs from person to person. Some people respond well, others respond modestly.
Some do not respond enough to keep going, and that happens too.
We will not promise you a number or a date. We will measure your progress and tell you plainly how it is going.
If a treatment is not working, we change the plan or stop it.

Important Safety Information
Prescription weight management medications carry real risks. Side effects can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal pain.
Less common but more serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, and dehydration severe enough to affect kidney function.
These medications are not appropriate for everyone. Tell your provider if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.
Also tell your provider if you have had pancreatitis, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy.
Weight regain is common after stopping medication, especially without lasting changes to eating and activity. We talk about that before you start, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions
In St. Johns, FL
How soon will I see results?
Timelines differ. Many people notice appetite changes within the first few weeks, though weight change is gradual and individual. Your provider tracks progress at every check-in.
Do I have to take medication to join the program?
No. Some patients start with nutrition and lifestyle support alone. Medication is prescribed only when a provider finds it appropriate for you.
Are these treatments safe?
Every prescription medication carries risk. Supervision lowers that risk but does not remove it. We review your history, screen for conditions that rule treatment out, and monitor you throughout. Please read the safety section on this page.
Do B12 injections cause weight loss?
No. B12 corrects a deficiency when your labs show one. We do not present it as a weight loss treatment.
What happens if I stop the medication?
Appetite usually returns, and weight regain is common. We plan for that from the beginning, with eating and activity habits you can keep.
Do I need to follow a special diet?
There is no required diet. We focus on protein, fiber, and hydration, which matter more when you are eating less than before.
