Meet Our Team
Terrell Swanson, MD, FAWM
Owner/Medical Director
Dr. Terrell Swanson has been an acute care specialist for 15 years, working in many types of environments, including level one and two trauma centers, giving him extensive experience with cosmetic facial repairs in acutely injured patients.
He also has two years of experience as a core faculty physician at an emergency medicine residency where he had the opportunity to give many lectures to residents on a variety of topics, as well as write two publications. In the last few years, he has shifted his focus to working with the underserved population of Jacksonville, caring for both adults and children alike.
Dr. Swanson completed his residency at the University of Florida Jacksonville where he met his beautiful wife Recia, with whom he is raising three young children. His main hobby is wilderness medicine, and he loves taking his family to national parks across the country where he teaches his children the importance of conservationism. His favorite activities are hiking, backpacking and landscape photography.
Wanting to be the very best at what he does, Dr. Swanson completed his injectables and PDO thread lift training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Recia Swanson, RN, BSN, LE
Owner/COO/Medical Esthetician
Recia Swanson has been a registered nurse for 15 years, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Jacksonville University in 2007.
She then started her nursing career in a level one trauma center caring for post-traumatic and post-surgical patients for four years, after which she transitioned to the emergency department where she treated an extensive array of medical conditions over several years.
Recia has been married to her wonderful husband since 2011 and is raising three young children. She enjoys making beautiful, delicious custom cakes in her spare time (Dessert Swan). She also loves both domestic and international travel, although she prefers international travel due to her love of culture. She especially wants to explore the Philippine Islands and put her recent SCUBA certification to use!
After several years of working with trauma and ER patients, Recia has chosen to pursue a career in aesthetics. Since she aspires to be the best skin care specialist possible, she is also a certified acne specialist.
In the near future, Recia plans to become an esthetics instructor and also complete her education as a nurse practitioner, thereby completing her journey toward becoming a master esthetician.
Veronica Harman, LE
Licensed Esthetician
Veronica Harman is a licensed esthetician with over 20 certifications in a continuing quest to provide superlative treatments by incorporating the newest innovations. After completing her esthetics licensure, she furthered her education in Cortiva Institute’s Medical Aesthetician program.
Veronica was born and raised in Ormond Beach, FL and moved to Jacksonville, FL to pursue her esthetician career. She loves living in Florida for the many outdoor activities that are offered all around the state. In her free time, she enjoys beach days, hiking and boating.
Veronica has been working as a facial specialist for the past three years and is now gaining even more knowledge in the body contouring and health industry. Her knowledge and love for customer service give her the ability to provide top-notch experiences for her clients.
In the future, Veronica plans to continually further her education in the esthetics and health industry to ensure that her clients experience the best result-driven treatments available.
Casey Bedard, PA
Physician Assistant
Casey Bedard is a physician assistant who grew up in northeast Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree in food science and human nutrition from the University of Florida in 2006 and then went to Daemen College in Amherst, NY to graduate as a PA in 2009. After several years of a career in Emergency Medicine, she began to pursue an aesthetics career in 2021. Casey currently holds an advanced injector certificate with Aesthetics Medical Educators, Inc and is also a certified ZO® Skin Health skincare expert.
Casey also has extensive experience with lasers, IPL, radiofrequency microneedling, dermal fillers and neuromodulators. She strongly believes in educating her patients on aesthetic principles, skin care and preventative measures as the foundation to a trusted provider-patient relationship. Her commitment to serving the area in which she grew up in brings her great joy.
Casey is married with three children and she and her husband both enjoy serving Northeast Florida communities. When she is not at work, she enjoys exercising, going to church and spending quality time with her family.
