The LaseMD Ultra laser creates tiny thermal zones in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural healing response to quickly produce new tissue. Since the Ultra laser is non-ablative, there is minimal disruption to the skin’s surface. Treatments are quick, comfortable and consistent, providing instant results for various hyperpigmentation concerns.
Depending on your pain tolerance and specific treatment settings, you may experience mild to moderate discomfort. To enhance your level of comfort, we may apply a topical numbing cream to your target area prior to treatment.
Depending on the size of your target area, a session with the Ultra laser can range from five to 20 minutes, with a full-face treatment only taking six to eight minutes.
There is little to no downtime with LaseMD Ultra; you are free to resume your regular activities immediately following treatment. You may experience mild redness which typically heals fully after five to seven days.
Your exact number of treatments will depend on your unique needs and goals. Some patients achieve their desired results with a single session, while others require a series of treatments.
